New Hampshire Public Radio

New Hampshire Public Radio (NHPR) is the state's NPR member network and its only statewide radio news service, broadcasting from 14 sites and producing local news and national podcasts from its Concord headquarters.

New Hampshire Public Radio (NHPR) is an independent, nonprofit public radio network and the NPR member station for the state of New Hampshire. Based at 2 Pillsbury Street in Concord, the state capital, it is New Hampshire's only statewide radio news service, broadcasting from 14 sites that reach nearly all of the state and parts of Massachusetts, Vermont and Maine.

The network's flagship, WEVO 89.1 FM in Concord, signed on in August 1981 as Granite State Public Radio. NHPR now also operates WEVC, WEVF, WEVH, WEVJ, WEVN, WEVQ and WEVS, along with the classical music station WCNH, which it acquired in 2014.

NHPR's newsroom focuses on accountability journalism about government, politics and everyday life in the Granite State, heard alongside NPR's Morning Edition and All Things Considered and weekend programs such as The Folk Show. Its local shows and newsletters include The Rundown, Primarily Politics, The Weekender and the N.H. News Recap. NHPR also produces nationally distributed podcasts, including Civics 101, Outside/In, Bear Brook and Document, and runs By Degrees, its climate change reporting project. Its journalism has been recognized by the Pulitzer Prizes, the Edward R. Murrow Awards and the Public Media Journalists Association.

NHPR hires across journalism (reporters, editors, producers and hosts), podcast production, digital and audience work, development and membership, finance and station operations. Most staff work from the Concord broadcast center, and some positions are posted as hybrid or remote eligible, with employees across New Hampshire and in neighboring states.
