Louisville Public Media (LPM) is an independent, community-supported nonprofit public media organization based in downtown Louisville, Kentucky. It operates three NPR member stations and an investigative newsroom, and serves Greater Louisville and Southern Indiana on the radio, on the web, through podcasts and at community events. Its stated mission is to provide independent and courageous news, music and experiences that serve the needs and aspirations of its diverse communities.

89.3 WFPL News Louisville is the region's NPR affiliate, producing daily local civic journalism online and on air and collaborating with the statewide Kentucky Public Radio Network. The Kentucky Center for Investigative Reporting (KyCIR), launched in 2013, is LPM's investigative unit and won a Peabody Award in 2018. 91.9 WFPK Independent Louisville is a listener-supported adult album alternative station that also presents concerts, including WFPK Waterfront Wednesday. 90.5 WUOL Classical Louisville is the city's classical music station and offers free, hands-on music education to young people in local schools and community centers.

Louisville's civic leaders founded WFPL at the Louisville Free Public Library in 1950, and the station won a Peabody Award in 1951. In 1993 the library and the University of Louisville transferred the licenses of WFPL, WFPK and WUOL to the Public Radio Partnership, a 501(c)(3) community licensee, which LPM describes as the first public broadcaster in the country to run three radio stations under a single board and management team. The organization took the name Louisville Public Media in 2008 and broadcasts from its building at 619 South Fourth Street.

LPM hires for news and investigative journalism, on-air hosting and production, music and classical programming, podcasts and digital content, events and community engagement, fundraising and membership, and operations and technology. It also offers paid internships.
