Little Rock Public Radio is the public radio service of Little Rock, Arkansas, operating two stations licensed to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UA Little Rock). KUAR 89.1 FM is an NPR affiliate that airs NPR news, talk and information programming along with Arkansas news and culture during the day and jazz at night, and it is also heard on a translator at 94.5 FM in Monticello. KLRE Classical 90.5 FM is a full-time classical music station. The two stations rebranded together as Little Rock Public Radio in August 2023 and share the website littlerockpublicradio.org.

KLRE signed on in 1973 as a Little Rock School District station for training broadcasting students, and KUAR began broadcasting in 1986 at 100,000 watts, covering most of central Arkansas. UA Little Rock became the sole owner of both stations in 1995. Today Little Rock Public Radio is a listener-supported public service department of UA Little Rock, housed in the College of Humanities, Arts, Social Sciences, and Education, with studios and offices in Stabler Hall on the university campus.

Its mission is to deepen insight into the human experience, empower decision-making and enrich the lives of those it serves through quality news and cultural programs. The newsroom covers Little Rock and Arkansas news, including politics, government and rural issues, and produces local hosting for Morning Edition and All Things Considered.

The staff includes a general manager and teams in finance, development and membership, programming and operations, and news, where reporters, hosts and editors work alongside student interns. The station hires for news reporting and hosting, underwriting and fundraising, and operations roles, and it offers fall and spring newsroom internships. Hiring runs through UA Little Rock, an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer.
