KCAW Raven Radio is a community public radio station in Sitka, Alaska, owned by the Raven Radio Foundation. On the air since 1982, it serves Sitka and rural Southeast Alaska communities with local news, volunteer programming and emergency information.

KCAW-FM, known as Raven Radio, is a non-commercial community radio station in Sitka, Alaska, owned and operated by the Raven Radio Foundation, Inc. The station signed on the air on March 6, 1982. Its mission is to be freely accessible public media that connects and strengthens its communities by providing reputable local news, creative and engaging programming, and essential information.

KCAW broadcasts on 104.7 FM in Sitka and through a network of translators to the rural Southeast Alaska communities of Angoon, Elfin Cove, Kake, Pelican, Port Alexander, Tenakee Springs and Yakutat, as well as a wide expanse of the coastal fishing grounds. Along with local, regional, state, national and international news and entertainment programming, the station carries Emergency Alert System and AMBER announcements and severe weather warnings, and coastal residents rely on it for tsunami warnings. An NPR member station, it also airs programming from American Public Media, the Alaska Public Radio Network and the BBC World Service.

Volunteer programming and community involvement have always been central to Raven Radio. The station counts more than 1,200 members and about 100 active volunteers, has trained more than 750 on-air volunteers, and has built a reputation for training producers, several of whom have gone on to award-winning national work. KCAW is a member of CoastAlaska Inc., a consortium of Southeast Alaska community radio stations that shares accounting, administrative, development and engineering services and cooperates on news content.

The station is based in the historic Cable House in Sitka, built in 1908 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the receiving station of the first telegraph cable connecting Alaska directly to the lower 48. Its small staff includes a general manager, an operations director, a news director, reporters and on-air hosts, and the station runs the Sarah Evangeline Hughes News Residency, a one-year program for early-career journalists. KCAW is an equal opportunity employer.
